BitFlyer, a Tokyo-based, has announced its formal expansion in the United States and was granted a license to operate in New York. The launch of BitFlyer USA made due to the closure of a beta. More than 2,000 investors have exchanged Bitcoins via the new platform. BitFlyer, the company’s biggest exchange of Bitcoins in Japan, has established a San Francisco office in August.
