We learned a few weeks ago that the japanese company GMO allows its employees to receive a portion of their salary in Bitcoins. But the French are prepared for the implementation of the same process in our country ? We have the answer !
An interesting study
It is a survey conducted by Paypite, one of the first crypto-currencies to the French, which has been achieved by e-mailing with 4.5 million people registered on the basis Qapa.fr and more than 135 000 recruiters. This study was conducted on 28 and 29 march 2018, and it provides information of particular interest on the future of the virtual currency in France.

First of all, 96% of women and 98 % of the men interviewed have already heard about the crypto-currency in our country, which proves that they have become a reality in the economic system. Regarding their usage, the respondents appear to be rather enthusiastic as 22 % of women and 26 % of men would accept their bonuses, or their bonus is partly paid in digital currency. Finally, 10% of women and 14 % of men would be willing to collect 10 % of their salary in Bitcoins.
Of course, the young people who are between 18 and 30 years who are most likely to perceive their pay in crypto-currencies since they are 33 % to consider a premium or a bonus in virtual currency. On the other hand, the 31-45 years of age are only 26 %, 46-60 years old 21 % and more than 60 years, 16 %.
And elsewhere ?
In France, it seems, therefore, that the crypto-currencies have indeed the wind in its sails, but it will have to wait to see a fee of this type in our country. Simply because of the labour Code provides that the payment of the wages must be necessarily carried out in fiat currency. It would therefore be necessary to change the French law, which is absolutely not on the agenda.

In contrast, in countries such as Japan or even Australia, it is quite possible. And it is for this reason that it is a japanese company that has innovated by paying part of the salaries in Bitcoins. Perhaps, one day, the French law will evolve in that direction. In the meantime, would you be willing to receive part of your salary in crypto-currencies ?
